Poor Dan is having a bad day. His coffee is cold, there's a scorpion in his boot and he thinks the cactus is a chair. Be careful Dan! After he picks the needles out of his bum, he wants to go into town but his horse has a different idea, she throws him off and escapes. Can the children help him find Li'l Horsey? But they have to be careful, the desert is full of hungry rattlesnakes, mosquitos the size of flamingos and more mirages than you can shake a stick at. Get ready for a fantastic adventure that will have everyone shouting, "YEEEE-HAAAAAW!"
It's Dan's birthday and he's expecting a special surprise from his mom. What is it? It's tickets to a dance party! But it's in San Francisco so Dan has to catch the twelve O'clock train. On his way he has a lot of adventures. And of course the students participate all the way, we have train conductors, a cactus, a cowboy friend and even a dancing horse. You have to see it to believe it!
Welcome to the Wild West! Well, actually the Wild West is down the road a bit. This is the slower and more gentle, Mild West. Here in the sleepy town of Los Banos (what could be the origin of that name???) everybody is talking about one thing: the California's Got Talent contest. Our hero, Desert Dan, has some secret dancing cologne which he's sure will help him win. But it gets stolen along with his horse, his pistol AND his Netflix password. What a catastrophe! Now how's he gonna win the contest? How's he gonna get to Los Angeles? And how's he gonna watch Stranger Things? These questions and more will be answered in a salon de actos near you.
There's trouble brewing in Los Angeles. An evil man, Calhoon, is preparing a sinister plan. The city needs help. They need a miracle. What they get is even better: The Magnificent One.
